Lifeway Mobility Announces Acquisition of Accessible Systems, Inc.
The Combination Creates a Leading Platform of Home Accessibility Solutions
Hartford, CT, April 26, 2022 — Lifeway Mobility (“Lifeway”), a leading provider of home accessibility solutions, announced the acquisition of Accessible Systems, Inc. (“ASI”). Founded in 1999, ASI is an established, well-positioned provider of home accessibility solutions serving Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Kansas, and Texas.
“We are thrilled to welcome ASI to the Lifeway family, as the combination brings together two high-quality leaders,” said Paul Bergantino, Chief Executive Officer of Lifeway. “Along with the talented team from ASI, we look forward to further expanding Lifeway’s national footprint and delivering exceptional service to our customers.”
The three Co-Founders of ASI, John Bixenman, Nathan Colburn, and Marty Twaddell, who possess decades of relevant end market experience, have joined Lifeway in key leadership roles.
“We are proud of the reputation we have earned in our mission to serve families who want to stay in their own home during their time of need,” said ASI Co-Founder Nathan Colburn. “Our new partnership with Lifeway will further strengthen our resources and capabilities as we support our customers. The mission of our combined team is to serve more of the country where there may not be home accessibility resources currently.”
The acquisition of ASI brings together two leaders in the home accessibility industry, providing a comprehensive suite of accessibility products and solutions to serve customers with mobility challenges and wish to age in their homes. ASI provides Lifeway with entry into six new states, with the combined organization now serving customers in nearly 22 states.
The successful closing of ASI further demonstrates Lifeway’s robust growth strategy to partner with outstanding, high-quality providers to reach more customers in need.
